Gmail & Google Workspace: Inbox connection via Google is temporarily unavailable while Google OAuth app verification finishes. When approved, Gmail will support the same product capabilities under the same privacy and security standards described in our Privacy Policy.

AI Triage

xNord reads every email the moment it arrives and classifies it across three dimensions: urgency, category, and required action. The urgency model is tuned specifically for startup founders — it understands that an email from a board member or investor is always urgent, that a term sheet question outweighs a product update, and that anything with a legal or financial implication needs your attention today.

Each email receives a 1-10 urgency score and a plain English reason when flagged urgent. You never have to wonder why something was surfaced — xNord tells you.

Urgency scoring
1-10 score based on sender, content, and deadline signals
Sender classification
Investors, stakeholders, legal, finance, and team contacts identified automatically
Thread summarisation
Every thread condensed to 2 sentences. Subject line is never enough.
Category labelling
work, newsletter, receipt, follow-up, investor, legal, finance, team, other
Deadline detection
Explicit and implied deadlines extracted from email body
Urgency reasoning
Plain English explanation of why an email was flagged

Draft Replies

xNord generates draft replies that sound like you. It uses the full thread history, your previous replies to this sender, the urgency of the email, and any context from the thread to write a response that matches your voice and gets straight to the point.

Drafts are never sent automatically. Every draft sits in your review queue until you approve it. You can edit, discard, or send in one click. Most founders send over 90% of drafts unchanged after the first week.

Thread-aware context
Full conversation history used to write contextually accurate replies
Voice matching
Learns from your sent emails to match your writing style and tone
One-click approval
Review, approve, and send from xNord without switching clients
Inline editing

Bulk approval

Smart Archiving

xNord automatically identifies emails that do not need your attention and archives them before they reach your active inbox. This includes newsletters, automated notifications, receipts, delivery confirmations, marketing emails, GitHub notifications, calendar invites you have already accepted, and any email pattern you define in Rules.

Nothing is deleted. Everything is accessible in your archived view and fully searchable. The run log records every archiving decision with a reason.

Pattern recognition
Common noise patterns identified and archived automatically
Receipt filing
Receipts and invoices labelled, filed, and archived for easy retrieval
Newsletter management
Newsletter senders identified and archived by default
Notification filtering
GitHub, Linear, Jira, Notion and other tool notifications handled
Custom archive rules
Define your own patterns in plain English in the Rules section
Full audit trail
Every archive action logged in the run log with timestamp and reason

Inbox Chat

Every email in xNord has a chat interface attached to it. You can give the agent instructions in plain English and it will act on them immediately. Ask it to reply with a specific point, archive the thread, snooze it until Thursday, add it to your follow-up list, or create a rule based on this sender.

The agent understands context. "Tell Tom I can do Thursday at 3pm" generates and sends a reply. "Archive everything like this" creates a rule. You are talking to something that can actually act.

Natural language commands
No syntax to learn. Write the way you speak.
Action execution
Agent acts on instructions immediately — no confirm dialogs
Rule creation via chat
"Archive all emails like this" creates a persistent rule
Draft generation on demand
Ask for a draft on any email at any time
Thread context
Agent has full access to the thread when responding to your instructions
Chat history
Full conversation history preserved per email thread

Rules Engine

Rules let you define how xNord handles specific types of email in plain English. No logic syntax, no conditions builder, no code. You write a rule the same way you would explain it to an assistant: "Anything from an investor domain is always urgent." "Archive all newsletters I have not opened in 30 days." "If the subject contains contract or NDA, flag as urgent and draft a reply acknowledging receipt."

Rules run on every agent scan and apply to all inboxes connected to your account.

Plain English conditions
Write rules the way you speak — no query language required
Five action types
Flag urgent, generate draft, archive, label, or snooze
Rule ordering
Rules evaluated in priority order, first match wins
Applied count tracking
See how many times each rule has been triggered
Enable/disable toggle
Pause a rule without deleting it
Rule suggestions
Agent suggests rules based on patterns it observes in your inbox

Run Log

Every action xNord takes is logged. The run log gives you a complete, timestamped record of every agent scan — what emails were fetched, what was triaged, what was archived, what drafts were generated, and how long it took. If the agent makes a decision you disagree with, you can see exactly why it made it and create a rule to handle that pattern differently in future.

Transparency is not optional. You should always know what your agent did.

Multi-inbox support

Connect multiple mailboxes depending on your plan (currently Outlook / Microsoft 365; Gmail when it launches). Each inbox is processed independently with its own rules, schedules, and run log. The shared label system on the Team plan allows labels to be synchronised across all inboxes connected to your team's account.

Perfect for founders who manage a personal inbox, a founders@ address, and a support@ address separately.

Per-account rules
Rules can apply to one inbox or all inboxes
Independent scheduling
Each inbox runs on its own schedule
Unified inbox view
All inboxes visible in one interface
Team shared labels
Team plan: shared label taxonomy across all accounts
Account-level run log
See runs per inbox or across all inboxes

Scheduling

xNord runs automatically in the background on the schedule you configure. The default is every 4 hours. You can change this to every 2 hours, every 6 hours, or manual-only in Settings. You can also trigger a run instantly from the dashboard at any time.

On Founder and Team plans, the agent runs on demand with no cooldown period.

Scheduled runs
2h, 4h, or 6h intervals
Manual trigger
Run instantly from the dashboard
No cooldown (Founder/Team)
Trigger as often as you need
Run notifications
Optional email notification when a run completes
